A General Introduction to No1 Currency at Morrisons
No1 Currency travel money services are available across the UK and Eire. As well as being available in a Morrisons store near you, they are also provided at a range of different outlets. To find out whether there’s one near you takes a few clicks on the No1 Currency website.
Travel money services have been provided for a number of years, and the company has a good reputation for providing a high quality and convenient service. It’s competitive exchange rates and favourable commission charges also makes it stand out from the competition.
No1 Currency offers a range of different foreign exchange services, as well as having more than 60 different currencies available for customers to buy or sell, over the counter. There is a minimum spend, and there’s a choice of home delivery, click and sell, click and collect, and prepaid travel money cards.
No1 Currency outlets also offer Western Union international money transfers.
Fees and Exchange Rates
Exchange rates are set every morning. They are in line with current market rates so are very competitive. Use the No1 Currency Click and Collect service and you can secure your exchange rate online with a 2-day guarantee.
Another benefit of using No1 Currency travel money services is that 0% commission is charged. If you choose the home delivery service, however, you are liable to a home delivery fee. For orders over £750, home delivery is free, but under that amount there’s a charge of £5.95.
Service and Coverage
As well as being able to buy and sell currencies at many of the Morrisons stores across the UK and Eire, there are Home Delivery, Click and Sell, and Click and Buy services available for customers.
Home Delivery
It’s possible to order a maximum of 4 currencies per online order. All orders are dispatched using Royal Mail Special Delivery, so you can be certain your currency is going to arrive on time. There are no worries about it getting lost or delivered to the wrong person because a signature is required upon delivery.
The maximum amount of currency that can be ordered is £2,500. Orders under £750 are subject to a £5.95 home delivery fee. However, orders over that amount are delivered free of charge.
It’s possible for orders to be made for home delivery, up to 10 days in advance. Next day deliveries are also available, provided that order is received before midday. However, it should be pointed out that some currencies are not always available for next day delivery. This will be clearly marked on your order when it is made.
Payment is made using a Visa or Mastercard debit or credit card. If you’re having problems placing your order online there’s a telephone number to ring, or you can visit your local No1 Currency outlet.
Click and Collect
Another very convenient service is Click and Collect. Simply reserve your currency online and then collect and pay for it at your local store. Almost 50 different currencies can be ordered include Euros, Croatian Kuna, Singapore Dollar, Columbian Peso, Bulgarian Lev and many more. A maximum of 4 currencies can be ordered at one time.
Once an order has been placed and confirmed the exchange rate is guaranteed for 2 days. All currencies ordered should be available for collection within 4 working days. Euros and USD, however, are generally available within 1 working day.
The limit for placing orders using the Click and Collect service is £3,000. However, if you want to order more than this amount you can make it over the telephone, Monday to Saturday, from 9am to 5pm.
It’s possible to request a text confirmation when currency orders are ready for collection.
Click and Sell
When you return from your holiday it’s possible to sell any unused currency you have and exchange it at your local No1 Currency outlet at Morrisons. A maximum of 4 currencies can be exchanged with one order, and the rate is guaranteed for 2 days. Orders to sell less than £3,000 can be placed online. However, for orders of more than £3,000 there is a telephone number to call, Monday to Saturday, between 9am and 5pm.
